Springtime Sports Fun

The children at Lyndhurst have been making the most of the Spring weather. Years 3 & 4 have been brushing up on their tag rugby skills this week. Drama – Focus on Narrative and Poetry

Year 3 have been exploring how to turn a narrative into a performance this term, they have taken poems and developed them into dramas. After working on the poem ‘Matilda’ by Hilaire Belloc they went onto work on a variety of other poems. This week they performed ‘The Persuasive Mr Frog’.

Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed their day out at Wisley Gardens. During our workshop we discovered how to plant plants from cutting of forest floor plants such as plectranthus and tradescantia.
