For Art, Design and Technology the children were inspired by music to create their master pieces and musical instruments. Butterfly Symmetry
Did you know there are 60 species of butterflies in U.K. Did you know the smallest butterfly is the Western Blue Pigmy, which is only 2cm across. Did you know butterflies taste with their feet! They bring so much pleasure. With a little paint and paper these beautiful insects were created.
Stepping it up!
As usual Lyndhurst children ‘stepped up’ for the Mrs Jones’s Weekly Sport’s Challenge. It was great to see pictures and videos of children walking out and about with their families. For art, across the school the children explored one the world’s most artist, Pablo Picasso. He was experimental in his approach to art, often painting a common object or person from lots of different angles in one picture – cubism.
