Lyndhurst School is proud to be supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. We dedicated a whole day of events to support this wonderful charity and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone in helping to raise a fantastic £434.55.
We kicked off the fundraising day, by asking all children and staff to come to school wearing an item of green clothing or a green accessory. It was great to see so many children taking part.
Thank you to all of the parents and friends who came to join us for coffee and cake in the afternoon. There was a vast selection of delicious cakes on display. We would like to say thank you to our wonderful catering team, Connect Catering , the local Co-op and Conquest Consultancy who kindly donated the cakes, coffee and tea and helped to make it such a success. Thank you also to Charly’s Bakes for donating some beautiful, homemade cupcakes for the winning prize for the ‘Guess the Number of Colin the Caterpillar Faces’ competition.
