The art cupboard has been adorned with some more amazing artwork produced by our Year 5 and Year 1 students. Year 5 got to design and create their own Easter egg packaging. They thought about the current designs of packaging available on the shelves and used this as inspiration for their designs. Mrs Dodds, our Art Teacher was very impressed with their eye catching designs.
Year 5 have been very busy in the art department, as they have also been having fun modelling with clay, sculpting Ancient Greek pots. These have been painted in the traditional colours.
The Year 1 students have been studying all about castles as their topic this term and as part of this topic they set about to design and create their own coat of arms. It was great to see how different and bold all the designs were across all of the coats of arms. Well done Year 1 and Year 5!
