There was something different at Lyndhurst School on Thursday and it was really fun … everyone was wearing Odd Socks. Lyndhurst together celebrated their differences by wearing odd socks. We all enjoyed celebrating what makes us all unique. This was a super opportunity for the children and staff to express themselves and celebrate their individuality!
Year One read lots of stories about different families and discussed how everyone is different and the same. A lovely story to share with the younger children is ‘Giraffes can’t dance’ by Giles Andre. There is much to discuss and how we would feel if we were Gerald. What a reflective day!
