A big thank you to the Blue Reef Aquarium in Portsmouth for hosting the Year 1 trip. They got fully submerged in their ‘Under the Sea’ topic! The Year 1 children got to take part in a shark workshop where they got to feel and see different shark teeth! They were all amazed by them and particularly enjoyed talking about the Megalodons. They all had a lovely look around the aquarium looking at the amazing sea creatures including sting rays, turtles, and sharks! They loved spotting all the beautiful colours on the different fish. The underwater tunnel was one of the favourite parts and the children enjoyed spotting the pufferfish! They finished the day with a walk outside to see the sea and the children got to look at the local fort and see some cannons. They all had a tiring but brilliant day!
