Springtime Sports Fun
The children at Lyndhurst have been making the most of the Spring weather. Years 3 & 4 have been brushing up on their tag rugby skills this week. Getting out into the fresh spring air, learning new skills, improving on others and giving everything a good go in true Lyndhurst and sporting spirit. Well done!

Rainbows and Puddles in Pre-Reception
Our Pre-Reception class have been busy this week drawing, writing and painting. The children used their mark making skills and chose to trace pictures or to paint colourful rainbows. Some days just have to be topped off by jumping and splashing in muddy puddles, and much fun was had with the water trays outside!

As we come to the end of the first week with us all back at school, we reflect on how wonderful it is to be back together. The children have been so pleased to be back in class, back with friends and back to an ‘almost’ normal school day. The hardworking staff and amazing children…
Reception visit The Vets – Virtually

Time for Drama
In drama this week, year 6 used the poem ‘In Twenty Years’ Time’ by Dona Ashworth as a stimulus for a devised drama piece. Each group produced some very interesting work on the theme of ‘lockdown’ inspired by this poem. In twenty years time… People will not ask the children of 2020 if they caught…
Limitless possibilities when creating marble runs!
The children have made some awesome marble runs. Careful thought was put into the designs there was even a mini golf course, a standing tower marble run and a roller coaster version were created.
Sport – Active Spelling
Children from across the school focused on spelling in this recent sports challenge. Getting both minds and bodies active by carrying out a sport or activity to represent each letter of your name!
