Year three have produced a collaborative group art work inspired by Van Gogh’s painting ‘Café Terrace at Night’ (1888). Each child studied a section of the painting and produced their own interpretation of their section using acrylics on canvas, they then put the pieces together and discussed how the individual sections work together as a whole to give an abstract version of the original. This work will be put up in the school hall shortly, so look out for it the next time you’re in there.
